GT Hiring Solutions to deliver new Employment Program of BC in Five BC Communities Including Burnaby
BURNABY, BC – Victoria based GT Hiring Solutions, a human resource services company that has helped over 30,000 unemployed British Columbians into jobs over the past 18 years, has been awarded contracts by the Ministry of Social Development to deliver the new Employment Program of British Columbia in five BC communities including Burnaby.
The new Employment Program of British Columbiais a one-stop approach to assist British Columbians in finding sustainable work opportunities as quickly as possible with a focus on the individual’s strengths and abilities. By providing a single point of entry to integrated employment and labour market services and supports, clients seeking assistance in finding work have better access to the full array of services available to them and they need only to tell their story once. The program will be delivered through WorkBC Employment Services Centres in communities across the province beginning in April 2012.
"Our goal is to give unemployed British Columbians the supports and services they need to find and keep a job,” said Minister of Social Development Stephanie Cadieux. “These WorkBC Employment Services Centres will offer supports and services under one roof to help people get back to work quickly.”
"GT Hiring Solutions was born out of the desire to help people overcome barriers to employment, and as we near our second decade in this business, we are very proud of the work that our team undertakes and the people that we help – our clients who are seeking employment and our employers who are seeking clients,” explains Christine Stoneman, COO of GT Hiring Solutions, a subsidiary company of Chemistry Consulting Group. “We look forward to working collaboratively with the Ministry and our partner community service providers to ensure the success of our clients and, and in turn strengthen the communities in which we are working.”
