Victoria BC, June 3, 2006, Victoria Times Colonist: Grant Thornton consultancy splits off job units. GT Hiring Solutions is leaving Grant Thornton LLP, but won’t be leaving the building. In a move purported to allow both the human resources business and Grant Thornton to focus on their core strengths, GT Hiring which operated the Destinations and HardHats employment programs through 29 offices in BC will carry on as a separate entity. The move means Frank Bourree, Christine Stoneman and Charles Shier will be leaving Grant Thornton, though will continue to work within the building at least until the end of August. Read more...
