Until June of 2006, Frank was a Partner with Grant Thornton LLP Chartered Accountants and Management Consultants where, for 12 years, he held the position of National Tourism Consulting Director. Frank is a Certified Management Consultant with over 30 years of personal and professional tourism industry experience and is widely recognized as an expert advisor to the industry. Prior to entering the consulting field, Frank spent 14 years with Controlled Foods International and then 10 years as owner/operator of 10 Restaurants. As a Principal with Chemistry Consulting Group, Frank provides consulting services to government and tourism clients throughout Canada. His areas of specialization include strategic planning, business planning, tourism strategy, human resources development, business valuation, and purchase and sales negotiations. Frank sits on numerous business and non-profit boards. He has served on the Board of Directors of Tourism BC, BC Restaurant & Foodservices Association, Global TV Community Advisory Board, Canadian Home Builders' Residential Construction Industry Training Organization, BC Summer Games, Tourism Victoria, Chaired Tourism BC's 2010 Committee and is President of the Victoria Association for Community Living.
Christine has worked in the hospitality and tourism industry for the past 26 years. She has lived and worked in Europe, Canada and the Caribbean and is bilingual in German and English. Christine is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR). Christine has been involved in training and job placement programs for the past 11 years. As a Principal with Chemistry Consulting, Christine leads a team of over 30 employees in 10 offices. Christine teaches hospitality classes at Camosun College and currently serves on the following boards: Canadian Tourism Human Resources Council, Greater Victoria Development Agency, Victoria Airport Authority and is the Past-Chair of Tourism Victoria. Charles is a Chartered Accountant and provides business valuation, financial modelling and financial analysis services for management consulting and business advisory clients. Charles’ career includes over 25 years of experience as an auditor, chief financial officer and accountant, providing services for a variety of private businesses, not-for-profit organizations and public sector bodies. Charles’ special areas of expertise are the development of financial projections and costing models, financial analysis, controllership, and business valuations, and financial performance benchmarking.
Dinah has more than 18 years of experience providing consulting services to public, private and not-for-profit organizations. She offers extensive technical expertise in the areas of strategy and business plan development, feasibility evaluation, market research, socio-economic impact assessment, and economic development. Her employment history includes four years as a senior manager with a national consulting and accounting firm, three years as a project manager with an information systems and environmental management firm, three years as a self-employed consultant, and eight years as a consultant with a niche consulting firm.
